Once thawed, the adhesive should not be re-frozen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>DIRECTIONS FOR USE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. \u00a0Dispense a bead of SB-50 along the outer corners of the component with the needle\/nozzle heated to 45\u00b0C<\/p>\n<p>2. \u00a0Apply only 25% of the length of the component (for a 1 mm wide component only apply 0.25 mm on each side) to obtain performance characteristics<\/p>\n<p>3. Because SB-50 is thixotropic, it will not flow under the component, leaving a nice fillet on the corner of the component<\/p>\n<p>Rework Procedure<br \/>\n1. Remove the component from the substrate by using local\u00a0application of heat onto the component.<br \/>\n2. The recommended heat profile is identical to the profile\u00a0used during initial assembly.<br \/>\n3. Once the solder has reached temperatures above it&#8217;s\u00a0reflow temperatures, lift the component off by using a\u00a0slight twisting motion.<br \/>\n4. The site should be cleaned, removing any excess underfill\u00a0and solder remaining on the PCB site.<br \/>\n5. Use appropriate flux remover or solvent.<br \/>\n6. A non-contact, vacuum method is preferred because it\u00a0minimizes potential damage to the PCB and solder-mask.<br \/>\n7.
